This page contains some information that will enable you to have a more pleasurable experience when using our website.

Our site has been tested with most of the latest popular browsers. In the event that you have problems using it, please:

  • Ensure that you have JavaScripting ENABLED as a browser setting or
  • Try a different browser. (We have done most extensive testing with Internet Explorer)

We recommend that you use a browser resolution of at least 1024*760 pix. for the best results.

Wherever we link to any external websites, we (as a standard) open these sites in a new browser window. To return to our Special Ops site, just close the new browser window.

We do not use cookies on our site, so you do not have to enable these.

Acess levels:

We have implemented a number of different access levels on our site. this means that some areas (or functions) on the site will only be available for certain user-levels. these have been indicated as follows:

  • All options marked with a red R () are available to REGISTERED USERS only. This means that you must have completed our registration (recruitment) process and you must be logged into our site. Any attempt to access these areas without you being logged in will result in an error message.
  • All options marked with a red A () are available to REGISTERED USERS and ACTIVE USERS only. This means that you must have completed our registration (recruitment) process and you must be logged into our site, in addition to your profile having been changed to ACTIVE by SOCOMM. Any attempt to access these areas without you being logged in (as an active user) will result in an error message.
  • In order for our WHO'sONLINE counter to work, you need to please LOG OFF when you are finished with an online (logged in) session. Failure to do so will still show your status in ONLINE mode.
