Pilots need to register with SAVAF for a number of reasons which are discussed below:

Once you have registered by completing our Recruitment form, we will open a virtual file for you at the SAVAF Command Center.

Your initial Status as a pilot will be set to "NEW", but you may login to the restricted area of our site, although you will have limited access only. (eg. you will not be able to apply for a rating on a new aircraft or add your name to our Task Force Standby list.). It is important for you to always LOGOUT once you have completed a session on our site - otherwise we have no means to detect whether you are actually online or not.

Once our Commanding officers (SOCOMM) have changed your status to "ACTIVE", you will be able to access all restricted areas on our site, but in order for you to make use of these facilities, you need to be logged in.
